I truly love everything about books. The stories they tell allow me to live through experiences that I could never dream of, and teach me morals and knowledge that I couldn't learn elsewhere. The characters inspire me to be a better person. I get to travel to different places, worlds, and times. And they are so beautiful. I've always grown up surrounded by books, so I can't possibly imagine a world without them. I know I am so privileged to have as many books as I do, to have access to more through libraries, and moreover, to be able to read and absolutely enjoy doing so.
So. Here is where I plan to share some of my love of books an reading. Because the best part about books alongside readings is being able to share the love of a book with someone else.
Below are all of my bookish pages, as well as a gallery of bookish pictures which include bookstores and libraries I've visited, shelfies, cosplay(s) of me as bookish characters, and, of course, books.
Here are my reviews for the Advanced Readers Copies (ARCs) that I've had the honor to read before they were published. Unfortunately, I do not think that I will post here often, because my previous access to ARCs is no longer available to me. But who knows? Maybe I'll have access to early releases in the future.
On this page I plan on reviewing (read: gushing about) all of my favorite authors. It really takes me a while to admit an author into the favorite category, but when I do, you'll know that I really truly love that author's works.
And here you'll find a good, old-fashioned book review, where I'll tell you my thoughts on a given book. Nothing new or creative here, but hopefully you'll enjoy reading about my bookish opinions.
This page holds all of the quotes from books I've read and thought were very impactful. Some of them will definitely mean a lot more or seem more profound if you know the context in which they were written, but I hope I'll have included some that are just great on their own.
One of the genres I am absolutely obsessed with is dystopians. So, here will be all my research and thoughts on dystopian novels.
This will be my one stop shop for all the books I read in a month. (Please be patient for this page, I have a loooong backlist of monthly reads to get through...Hopefully I'll catch up and make it a habit to update this page frequently and consistently.
Out of all of my bookish pages, I think I'll post most frequently on this one, because the majority of the books I read are part of series. Not only will there be reviews of series here, but also updated lists on what series I have completed, what series I am currently in the middle of, which ones I don't plan on continuing, and which series I would like to start.
