Meet our Project Archivist intern, Melissa Bergoffen.

Melissa studied Archaeology and Classical Civilizations at the University of Glasgow, and holds a master's of science in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute. She's worked at various academic and public libraries, as well as at Historic Trappe in various capacities (from archaeology to library work to tours, etc.).

At the Lutheran Archives, Melissa has been inventorying, cataloging, and organizing the Ministerium of Pennsylvania collection, as well as posting on LACAP's social media.

Melissa would eventually love to participate in an archaeological dig in Greece, maybe enroll in another graduate degree program, this time in one that is concerned with ancient Greek art and archaeology, and can be found reading fantasy, science fiction, and Greek-related literature in her free time.
