In March 2021, the Lutheran Archives was awarded a Historical & Archival Records Care grant from the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission to help us preserve and make accessible the records of the Evangelical Lutheran Ministerium of Pennsylvania and Adjacent States (aka "MOP"). Melissa is the project archivist working with the MOP collection. She is starting by going through the entire MOP collection shelf-by-shelf to record information in a spreadsheet about each item --including dimensions, condition, and content. These records will later be exported to our PastPerfect database, which will later be made accessible online. Melissa will be sharing her discoveries with regular updates on social media --stay tuned!
